Group Meeting and written interview. Made to sit in a group and discuss scenarios, whilst being observed my managers. Thereafter you had to write answers to different scenarios. The whole process took upto 1 hour. I genuinely believe they prefer a much younger employee whose starting off, not opinionated and someone who wouldn't challenge the Managers even if they are being mistreated. I was a former employee.. I saw nothing had changed in over 10 years

I applied Online directly on the John Lewis website. I was then sent a link to a situational questionnaire. After about 2 weeks I received an invite to a group assessment which included a 1-1 interview. Assessment and interview lasted approx 1.5 hours
