John Cabot University interview questions

In the first week after applying, I received a request for a 30-minute, remote, introductory interview. In the second week, an in-person interview was held with the Chief of Staff. Another interview was schedule the 3rd week. A decision was given the 4th week of the interview process. The process was clear, the expectations of the job position were clarified, and there was an understandable consensus on the skills required for the job and how applicants were assessed. The pay is lower than market-rate, with standard Italian benefits.

I applied by email, was offered an online interview 6 weeks later. It was more like a screening interview, I was not asked to prepare any slides, etc. There were three people, but only one of them was from the department I was applying to. The interview itself was poorly structured, with very vague questions and little focus. By US standards it was a bit of a joke. The people on the panel seemed to lack soft skills and where not particularly pleasant. Overall, a negative experience given that this interview was for an academic position. BTW, all three people I talked to were Italians.... so much for diversity at JCU!
