While the role itself seemed interesting, I found the interview experience disappointing. The discussion felt more like being lectured than having a professional conversation. Rather than exploring my design decisions and understanding my thought process, the interviewer frequently interrupted and attempted to explain what the design process "should" be, even when I was describing my own workflow. I welcome constructive criticism and technical discussions, but I also expect an interview to be a two-way conversation where candidates are given the opportunity to explain their work. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my experience and perspective were dismissed rather than evaluated.
