I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jibunu (Leominster, MA) in Dec 2010
Interview
They invited me to their facility. I walked in to the office building which had a locked door, and then called the office and someone let me in.
I was led to a conference room with white walls and a large table. No windows. I was told they would be right with me.
First I answered a number of general interview questions about my background and interests.
When I told them I was familiar with Microsoft Office they put a computer in front of me and gave me a list of rather complicated tasks to complete in Microsoft Excel.
I was then given a worksheet with a number of boolean logic problems with which I was not familiar. The "test" was to see exactly how I would "teach" myself to do something I wasn't familiar with.
The interview took a total of around 4 hours. After spending an afternoon interviewing I never heard from them again. Nothing. No phone call, no email, nothing.
The owners (who are two brothers and a wife, I believe) have seemingly high expectations for people in entry level positions. I felt as though the interview process was designed to put the interviewee under intense pressure. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by giving me the opportunity to apply for a job there.
