Interview
Had an initial phone call with the most senior banker. Met with the senior members of the team, followed by meetings with the my peers. Very laid back interviews. Took an unusually long time to offer the job.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jefferies (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
There were a couple of initial phone conversations followed by a superday. The superday had about 6 20-minute rounds with VPs on the team. Generic questions mostly about banking with technicals mostly concentrated to one interview with two interviewers. Following the conversations, they had everyone take a DCF modeling test that had a couple of additional components (WACC, AVP, etc) They provided no updates or communication to those interviewed and sent a generic message ending the hiring process several months after the interview. It was super odd.

Listing my motivations and drivers to join the firm.
Process was pretty straightforward. What you would expect for an MBA summer internship interview. Behavioral, fit and technical.
