I applied online. I interviewed at Jeans Warehouse (Honolulu, HI) in Jul 2024
Interview
Jeans Warehouse’s hiring process is pretty straightforward and designed to see if you’re a good fit for the team. After filling out an application, you’ll usually go through a short interview where they ask about your work experience, availability, and why you want to work there. They may also check to make sure your background is clear, similar to a basic background check. During the interview, it helps to know a little about the company. To keep things simple, they finish the process with an easy math problem, such as making change or adding up a purchase, just to confirm you’re comfortable handling transactions.
started with phone call then spoke to manager, then to CEO and COO, then the rest of the team. All through zoom and everyone was friendly, didn't give a hard time.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jeans Warehouse (Honolulu, HI) in May 2020
Interview
The interview was very easy. I would dress somewhat professional for first impressions but it's a very casual interview and if you're doing it in person, they just take you to the back room. My suggestion is don't apply online because you won't be interviewed by the store manager. You'll be interviewed by HR and I think it's better to interview and get to know who your potential manager is. As for the interview itself, they mostly ask about personal experiences so be prepared to think back to situations you've encountered.
