stats questions—typical coin tossing games, probablility questions associated with it. very hard and did not pass the second round. not sure if i have a new shot. the recruiters are very nice though.

Imagine you have a 9-sided die, you get points corresponding to the face of the die after rolling, however, rolling a 9 ends the game and gives score of 0. what is your expected value of the game, how would you play?
After submitting the application, they review resume for about a month and contacted me. First round, I was asked basic statistical questions, thought I did fairly ok, but got rejected soon after the interview
