Interview
Fairly easy if you're comfortable with a microphone and computer. They call you and describe what goes into the job, then you're asked to audition if you accept conditions of the job. The audition is typically at a bar and you play trivia host. If you do well, you'll get offered the job.

Interview
Telephone interview to determine your skills and experience. If you pass the interview you are sent to a PAID audition to audition at a live show. Typically you will do a few shows on a training level of pay. Once you demonstrate the ability to perform on a professional level you are given full pay and awarded your own shows to manage.

You will be asked questions, and asked to demonstrate your knowledge, of professional audio equipment, public speaking, DJing, collecting and depositing funds and being able to build and maintain relationships with venue management and clients.
