      Business Development Interview

      29 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Jaipur Rugs (London, England) in Jul 2025

      Interview

I went through a three-stage interview process that, unfortunately, was let down significantly by the recruitment coordination. Interviews were rescheduled multiple times – usually only after I chased the recruitment contact when the interviewer hadn't shown up for the call. Meeting slots were proposed at 8am on a Saturday and even on a Sunday, which felt unreasonable. After completing the final interview, I never received any follow-up or feedback despite waiting. I was also sent a pre-interview form requesting surprisingly personal information, including parents' names and the school my children attend. I found this unnecessary and outside the scope of a professional hiring process. To be fair, the people who did show up to interview me were all warm, knowledgeable and genuinely lovely – which made the disorganisation all the more disappointing. The culture within the teams I met felt positive, but the recruitment experience itself does not reflect well on the company and would give me pause before recommending it to others.
