I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
Applied through school online. Contacted about three weeks later for a basic phone interview. Emailed a week or so later inviting me to come up to Chicago for a four-ish hour morning interview block. There were three or four 15 minute conversations (not especially difficult -- they were pretty nice people, actually), and then a six or seven person group activity. They called with an offer about 10 days later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The group activity was the most difficult part. It really isn't about the answer. It's about showing a little leadership and being open to other's ideas.
Straightforward interview process. There was a panel interview with a one on one interview in the end of the process. They would ask you situational questions and technical questions about technology.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Tokyo) in May 2025
Interview
It was an video interview with the application called hirevue. There was three questions you need to answer on video and two questions you need to respond in essey. You will have opportunity to answer the question two times, so you can re-record it if you were not satisfied with your first record.

Tell us about a time when you had to analyze information from multiple sources to make a decision. Describe the situation and the steps you took to reach your conclusions.
Imagine you recently joined an international team where your colleagues all work in different locations. What are some steps you would take to strengthen a virtual team?
A group discussion followed by personal interview of 2 technical rounds and an HR round. Every question was from the information in the resume. Very few technical questions on Excel and statistics based on my interest in analytics. A few situation questions followed by questions on internship.
