      IB Risk Interview

      3 Feb 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Jan 2010

      Interview

J.P. Morgan interviewers are direct and to the point. They want to know what you have accomplished, what you have learned, and are looking for what you can bring to the firm. My interview process consisted of a phone interview with a VP and a 2 on 1 interview with an MD and a ED. The two parts of the interview that stood out to me were when I was asked what a senior secured lender might want as collateral and when I was invited to ask a question myself.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

If you were a senior secured lender, what kind of collateral would you want from the client?
      Answer question

      Question 2

What's the biggest risk you've ever taken?
