I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interviewer was trying to ask me some very CS questions, but switched to other topics after I explained I was not from a CS background. My impression was that this group emphasizes a lot on CS skills. The questions he asked me were: probability, brain teaser (use of symmetry when putting a quarter on a round table), and college math ( climbing up and then down a mountain with a timer).

Question 1
You play a game with someone, the rule is to take turns to put a quarter on a round table ( can be any size, but must be of symmetrical shape). You are trying to cover the table up with quarters, you lose when there's no place for you to put down the quarter. Should you be the first person to play ?
First there was a techinal test having 2 coding problems. Then Another mcq test which had english ,quantative aptitude ,probability, and cs fundamentals.
Then I was shortlisted for interview. there were 3 techinal rounds . In 2 I was asked coding problems . In one puzzles.

Question 1
puzzle questions were from brainstellar, one was the amoeba one in which there is p probability to get spilt .Hence find prob for extinction of that spieces.
My experience is mixed, it was great with some interviewers, but not with the others. Usually focused on textbook examples which interviewers themselves did not seem to care about. Overall, the scheduling was a nightmare, as many recruiters did not respond proactively..
Interviews online, starting with the hiring manager, then a sequence of interviews of 45min. Maths and probabilities questions, team-specific knowledge as well. Easy coding question - describe the approach; explain some programming concepts.
