I applied online. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Wilmington, DE) in Jun 2023
Interview
Two part interview, with a final round with the direct hiring manager.
First part was a coding question, have a good grasp on basic programming fundamentals and data structures like stacks and queues.
And have a basic understand of system architecture, components of a system, be able to explain in detail, and draw a diagram from it.
For the final interview, its mostly team based questions, how well you fit into the team, and final vetting process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design a messaging system for a social media application, draw a diagram and explain the process.
Was given a leetcode problem within the first 4 mins of the interviewer. Wish I was making this up. Interviewers did not really introduce themselves besides names, straight to the code problem. The interview felt extremely cold. No soul, no passion, no discussion
Asked very scripted questions and everyone took a lot of notes. I really enjoyed the people I spoke with and they really made me think about the role and my past
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How could you see your past experience supporting you in this role as AI uses proliferate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Jersey City, NJ)
Interview
First round HR screening
Second Round - Online Assessment
Third Round Superday - Behavioral, Coding Challenge, System Design
Overall one of the smoother processes, does take long around 3 months
