I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at JLR (Gaydon, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
Two interviews, one related to past experiences and CV, the last one was about behavioural questions related to soft skills. First interview was ok, the second one was with two guys, one was in a room and I couldn't understand a word while the other one was almost always silcence.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioural questions about their 5 core values, and other questions such as "talk about that time in which you had to ...", related to hard skills.
It wasn't great, the interviewer repeatedly attempted to trip me up during the interview process, and seemed quite disinterested in my responses.
On the whole I didn't enjoy said interview process.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JLR (Wolverhampton, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
A behaviours section which they look for buzz words and you're marked out of 5 for 5 sections. Need a minimum of 15 to pass that section. Second section is a test based on PLC logic and identifying different things
Initial CV upload, then a subsequent reasoning test similar to those from other companies, and thereafter a two stage interview process wherein we initially had to outline JLR's future (namely their Reimagine Project) and their company values.
Following that there is a behaviour and motivation interview, wherein you outline why you'd like to join JLR for this specific role, and how you can be an asset to the team.
