I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2018
Interview
12 people at the assessment centre. Interview took approx 6 hours in the afternoon. 3 rounds: 1:1 technical; 1:1 semi-technical and CV; group assessment.
The semi-technical questions were related to prior experience with programming.
For the group assessment we were given 10 pieces of potentially incomplete documents and had to make a decision based on the information there, and present it afterwards. The key here is not to act like a idiot, watch the time, be supportive to everyone and try to reach a conclusion. Some people tried to actually argue their position an "win" over their teammates, not realising that they are just proving how incapable of teamwork they are.
JP Morgan HireVue process is a timed, one-way video interview, typically the first screening step, where you record answers to behavioral and sometimes technical questionsYou get limited prep time (e.g., 30-120 seconds) and a couple of attempts (often one re-try) to answer each question within a set time (e.g., 90-120 seconds).
