Interviewed with a panel of three employers. They each asked a series of questions after describing what the job entailed as a 911 Dispatcher. After the interview, I was allowed to sit with an on-duty dispatcher to observe what they do. If they chose me as a good candidate, I would be brought back in for a comprehensive test on a simulator. If I did well on the test, and they offered me a position, I would interview with the Director, get drug tested, go through training, which would include 911 Telecommunications school.
