I received multiple emails via Indeed about this position, and after I looked over what they were offering I thought it might be a good fit. The information provided did not say if the job was remote or not, so since I currently do this job position for another company remotely, and they reached out to me via my profile that says I am remote only, I deduced remote was a possibility. I scheduled a phone interview for Tuesday, and they reached out to me to quicken the process and asked me to do a Zoom interview on Friday. I agreed, and upon the beginning of the interview they had asked if I would relocate from Seattle to Vancouver. It was unfortunate that they did not list that this job was in office only position, or that they did not ask this as a screening question prior to scheduling the interview, as this would have saved all of us our time. I genuinely hope that companies consider that their opportunities to find good staff would be expanded by having remote workers.
