The recruiter was self-described as sick the day that he called me for an initial interview. He was argumentative, using phrases like "well, that's debatable". There is no debate here, either you understand how I've described my transferrable skills or you can ask for clarification. His mood was so sour that it left a bad taste in my mouth in terms of seeking additional employment opportunities for the company. He had let me know I should hear on next steps in the next week. I followed up with an email thanking him for the interview the next day. That was three weeks ago with no further contact from the recruiter. This is a job I'm well-qualified for. I'm also in the interview process with four other companies that had a congenial recruitment process. It was pretty off-putting to say the least.
