      Clinical Territory Associate Interview

      25 Apr 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Intuitive (London, England) in Jan 2022

      Interview

**READ IF APPLYING** The interview process consisted of 6 stages over three months (average is roughly 42 days). One screening call with the talent team, two video interviews with sales managers, one field ride, and two further video interviews with directors. It was at least two weeks between each stage, and each time it was a case of me following up with the company to see if I was advancing to the next (including their final decision following the last interview stage). After reaching out for the final decision the talent team wrote back that day to tell me I had not been successful, and after 6 interviews across 3 months, provided one single line of feedback: "your example based answers did not specifically align to the approach he (UK director) was looking for on collaboration". Personally I felt I deserved a little bit more, having given a huge effort to the interview process, and having had to turn down two other roles due to the length of it. I wrote directly to the director asking them to expand on this vague sentence, and have recieved no response. I'd read and heard amazing things about the company and its culture before and during the interview process, however am now doubtful of this considering the respect they seem to show applicants. There is no doubt it is an exciting company to work for and I don't mean to discourage anyone from applying, but when doing so make sure you're not messed around.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. Introduction to you and your experiences thus far. Interviewer may ask about area of your CV or simply get you to expand on experiences you have already described. 2. Classic competency questions e.g. time you've had to make a difficult decision, time you've been frustrated, most proudest achievement etc.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Intuitive (London, England) in Feb 2026

      Interview

Lengthy and confusing. Field based interview was unclear about the purpose. Otherwise standard questions throughout online interview. Many stages. Would not recommend unless fully committed. Plenty of 1 hours online stages

      Interview

Applied online. Recruiter emailed to setup a phone call. Phone call was going well when the interviewer started becoming annoyed, in which you could tell in their voice. Appeared to like my resume with no sales experience. Job does not require sales experience. Interviewer would make huffing noises that would make someone think they’re annoyed by the conversation. If that’s how the interview starts, I can only imagine how they treat employees. Never again will I apply.

      Interview

Interview process was normal compared to other med device companies. Definitely prepare behavioral questions and really emphasize what this company means to you. Everyone has the same goal in mind and that is to help patients and surgeons. Make sure to connect with this.
