I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intuitive in Mar 2021
Interview
Started with a phone screening with the recruiter. She was very kind. Sold the company well and set expectations regarding the role. Followed up with a 30-minute zoom interview with the territory manager. Very quick and fast paced. You can tell they work through a lot of interviews and have a pretty specific structure they follow. She immediately told me I would move on. However, they told me it can take awhile to get to the next step and to be on standby. About a week later, I got a call from recruiter again saying I had another interview and they wanted it to be the following day. It was a 1 hour interview with the manager and director. Again, pretty fast paced and intense. They would take your answer and build upon it with another question getting you to dig deeper. It was very sales process focused. They wanted a lot of the questions to be "rapid fire" so prepare to not have time to think of an answer. I then had a field ride out of state. Wonderful experience. I had one more interview with the manager before getting an offer! Overall, it was pretty quick, but they did set the expectation that this process usually takes months.

What makes you, you?
What are 3 words you use to describe yourself?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Intuitive (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
Lengthy and confusing. Field based interview was unclear about the purpose. Otherwise standard questions throughout online interview. Many stages. Would not recommend unless fully committed. Plenty of 1 hours online stages
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuitive
Interview
Applied online. Recruiter emailed to setup a phone call. Phone call was going well when the interviewer started becoming annoyed, in which you could tell in their voice. Appeared to like my resume with no sales experience. Job does not require sales experience. Interviewer would make huffing noises that would make someone think they’re annoyed by the conversation. If that’s how the interview starts, I can only imagine how they treat employees. Never again will I apply.

Question 1
Explain a difficult situation and how you handled it?
Interview process was normal compared to other med device companies. Definitely prepare behavioral questions and really emphasize what this company means to you. Everyone has the same goal in mind and that is to help patients and surgeons. Make sure to connect with this.
