I applied online. I interviewed at International SOS in Apr 2026
Interview
* For clarity, this interview was for an AM position at MedAire specifically. All reviews for MedAire are now being posted to the International SOS page* Here is the process that I went through and my review: 1. Email from HR Manager asking me to respond to questions about my qualifications and expected salary
2. Virtual interview with Sales Manager
3. Virtual interview with Director
4. In-person half day visit with the team in Phoenix
5. Virtual call with Business Dev. Manager
6. Reference Checks.
I was taken through the entire interview process just to hear through the grapevine that they had concerns about my lack of direct aviation experience. This was something that was apparent when they reviewed my resume before starting the interview process. Hearing this after multiple interviews, flying across the country and my references being contacted was disappointing. I was also never notified that I was not being offered the job by anyone on the team. I followed up about their decision and it was not a priority of theirs to let me know that they went with another candidate or to give feedback. Overall, the impression that the team made on me throughout the interview process was good and I am grateful for the opportunity to have interviewed. Interviews were straightforward and fairly easy questions. The lack of regard for the time and energy I invested throughout the interview process is my only frustration. Especially because from what I understand, it came down to experience, not my performance in interviews. If you don’t have direct aviation experience, save yourself a lot of time and consider applying to other companies.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you know about the company, where do you see yourself in 5 years, how would you tackle learning a new industry?
They had two interviews at one day(HR/Tech). HR's interview was average and easygoing, and the tech part was mostly based on the pre task. Full interview was go by Korean(guess it's because I was applied for internship, which barely "speak" English) and there was no inappropriate questions.
