International Center for Journalists interview questions

Was contacted shortly after submitting my application for a preliminary interview with a recruitment consultant. I'm a seasoned interviewee but the interviewer was completely disengaged, just mumbling "mmm hmm" now and then. No active listening shown. Promised that they would reach out about next steps in the process the following week or next. After two weeks of silence I reached out for updates, but never received a reply. The whole thing was unprofessional and disrespectful.

I applied for the job and exchanged several emails with the hiring manager. Had an interview and said they would contact me with next steps. I had to follow up myself and after some silence got a rejection.
