Interview
Was brief but very professional. Took a long time to hear back from company to schedule interview. I applied in April, interviewed in May, and started in June. This is the perfect job for college students.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Intermountain Health (Riverton, UT) in Dec 2016
Interview
It was a panel interview consisting of the manager, and another orderly. The interview started out with the manager saying that the interview would be very informal, and they didn't care about any previous experience because they could train anybody to do the job. What was most important to them was the person. They really loved my volunteer experience. They also asked about how my past experiences could apply to the job, and asked how I would react in a specific scenario. Overall had a great experience.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intermountain Health (Murray, UT) in Aug 2009
Interview
The initial interview for new hires with Intermountain are usually held at their human resources office. The first interview is usually a group interview including several candidates. During the group interview, the HR interviewer will ask each candidate to introduce themselves to the group and give the group a scenario to discuss. The object is not to be right or to give the best answer. The object for the HR rep is to determine how well the potential employee will interact in a group. The trick is to make sure that you are respectful, but make sure to speak up and make your opinion known. If you perform well, they will give you a one-on-one interview.
