      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Intermountain Health

      Interview

Initial meeting with HR, followed by an in person interview by the team I was joining. The interview consisted of fairly standard interview questions. Nothing too out of the ordinary. A good conversation ensued about what they were trying to accomplish and how I could help in that endeavor.

      Interview

It depends on what area of the company you are applying for. Interviews vary from casual setting to picky. Some departments at Intermountain Healthcare are more interested in "clicking with you" to find out if you will be a good fit with the team. Other areas will pick your resume apart and ask about any or all formal training the candidate has that qualifies he or she to do the job. Some teams will have a scenario that you need to explain how you would work, etc. Often I found the hiring manager already had an internal candidate in mind, and my interview was just so they can fill out paperwork to make HR happy, and to avoid a lawsuit later. If you are lucky to get an in-person interview, watch for the interaction. If some of the employees on the panel don't care to interact much with you, it is because they are just going through the motions.
