I applied in-person. I interviewed at Intellect Technical Solutions (Singapore)
Interview
Straight forward. It takes more than 1 month. Questions were not that much difficult. Previous experience was asked. And i was explained what my duties will be. My current companies notice period was asked. My roles and responsibilities were explained clearly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Intellect Technical Solutions
Interview
Phone conversations. Interview on-site. Offer. Pretty strait forward.
Really nothing out of the ordinary here to report. If you have ever been through the interview process of a company this is the same. Probably not the most helpful information, just the truth though.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing unexpected. If you weren't a good performer at your last job, they will find out. Interviewer asks you difficult questions and expects data to back it up.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intellect Technical Solutions in Sept 2013
Interview
A waist of time. These guys are used car salesmen. Unprofessional; giving IT recruiters a bad rep. They contacted me through LinkedIn, and the recruiter talked to me like I was his "bro". I took a chance anyways and went in for an interview. The office was dingy. No secretary. They immediately had me take a test, to judge my "skills". They sat me in a broken chair, in what looked like a storage closet. The desk came up to my chest when sitting in the chair. The key board and mouse was from '95, and the test was on an old XP machine, in Excel. The test was so out-dated, that most of the techniques asked about are no longer used. HTML tables?!?!?! Inline CSS?!?!?! Nothing about mobile, or responsive design. Nothing about any type of JavaScript libraries. Their clients don't want an employee that programs using 10yr old techniques. Since I hadn't coded this way in a few years, I obviously didn't do well. I kept asking them about the age of the test but they were more interested in shoo'ing me out of their office.
