Interview
The interview was fine and went well, questions were related to the job posting. The hiring manager was very nice and made the interview feel like a normal chit chat session.

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Kuala Lumpur) in Jan 2010
Interview
Communication started with a call for interview request and all other details was communicated by email, which was very clear providing all the necessary details such as the job title, time and venue for interview, documents to bring along.
It was a onetime interview and was interviewed by 2 senior tech leads/managers in the team.
Interview lasted for few hours.
Initial question was to introduce your self and talk about my own strengths and accomplishments which from perception is for the interviewers to get to know more about me and also to test my vocabulary skills.
Once after this the interviewers went on to ask about my final year degree project and after this it was mostly technical with regards to project, and programming languages and also analytical thinking questions to check if i can think extremely fast and come up with the best solution to problems provided.

Question 1
unexpected question was that the interviewers were hands on and provided questions with regards on analytical thinking and have to come up with software programs for those questions. Unexpected part is that all of these had to be done on a white board and not on paper and the interviewers were looking at details like comments, coding structure, feasibility and maintenance of the code in the long run.
