It was pretty standard. If you know the basics, then you should be fine.
By Basics, I mean RTL, Synthesis, Scripting, CDC, Lintra, Clocking, Clocking, Reset, etc.
Also, communication skills matter.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Bayan Lepas)

First is the self introduction. Then, there are technical questions based on final year project and Digital Logics. Finally some soft skills on what would you do if the team doesn't accept your proposed solutions. Took about 1 hour online interview.

Interview done through online with Hiring Manager and two engineering managers, there were some technical questions revolving around RTL design and soft skills questions. The managers were friendly and helpful.
