I applied online. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR)
Interview
The interview process began with a phone screening from the hiring manager. This consisted mainly of background questions and some brain teaser. After being selected, there is an onsite interview at the Intel plant. At the plant there are 8 one on one interview with various engineer and managers. They look at your resume first and figure out your background. Then the interview becomes very technical and asks concepts and knowledge from your coursework.

Question 1
A couple interviewers were PHD students. They will go down to very deep theory level of concepts such as semiconductor physics. The questions that will get you are the ones where you have to explain the physics such as explain the physics behind threshold voltage. It seems for this position very strong fundamental knowledge of semiconductor physics is required and also general knowledge of VLSI design. If you put down any course work that relates to the position make sure you know it in great detail.
Very well executed interview process, quick and simple. I first went through a phone screening for about 15 minutes. The online interview was then scheduled a week after afterwards which took around 45 minutes. Afterwards, I was informally accepted, but formally given the job then job acceptance in 1 week.
