      These are the most important rounds and are often conducted by engineers or hiring managers. Technical Focus Questions depend on your background but often include: Semiconductor fundamentals (diffusion, deposition, etching, lithography) Materials characterization (SEM, XRD, Raman, AFM) Process troubleshooting (very common) Example questions: “What determines whether a film is amorphous vs. crystalline?” “How would you troubleshoot a vacuum system failure?” “Explain how photolithography works.” “What is mean free path and why does it matter in deposition?” Behavioral Focus Intel strongly emphasizes teamwork and problem-solving.
