Initial interview was more than smooth, though had I not shown and explained my portfolio, I think the interviewer would have been a little more confused. She had a hard time dictating what the hiring manager wanted in on specific instance--though through my experience, I'm positive they wanted feedback on how candidates use the Kirkpatrick model for evaluating the effectiveness of assessments/eLearning.
The initial went more than well with the phrase "I'm going to set us up with an interview to include the hiring manager" uttered. I gave them my incredibly flexible schedule, and was promptly ghosted until a second follow-up and incredibly professional inquiry into the status of this never-to-happen second round interview.
My only trouble with this interview was my confusion to how someone can state a follow-up interview only to shoot an email 2 weeks later curtly stating they found someone else. All of this said, they have relisted the job.
I'm confused. The job market is a bare knuckled brawl, and when asking for feedback on our interview, I was provided with none.
I can't recommend this interview process or sing praises of this companies interview methods. Best of luck to all future candidates.
