I recently had a deeply frustrating experience with Instructure's hiring process that I feel compelled to share. I applied for a role and after weeks of waiting, they finally scheduled an interview. The interview itself went well, and the hiring manager even told me I was going to move forward in the process. However, after that, it was nothing but radio silence.
Weeks passed with no updates, despite my repeated follow-ups. The lack of communication was both unprofessional and disrespectful. To add insult to injury, after all that waiting and uncertainty, I received a generic, template rejection email weeks later.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Instructure as an organization. It's clear that they have no respect for candidates' time or effort. If this is how they treat potential employees, I can only imagine how disorganized and unprofessional the rest of the company must be. Instructure needs to seriously reconsider how they handle their hiring process—candidates deserve better.
