I was recruited. In general it was very rushed and seemed like they were nervously restructuring. The position I was originally offered was demoted without explanation in the final offer. In the end, I was offered that lower position, but asked two questions in follow up emails 1) if remote would be considered and 2) why the position was demoted. My offer was rescinded with a generic email and no explanation. Generally a very weird experience.
The interview process at Instant Pot included an initial recruiter screen, followed by a detailed hiring manager interview and several cross-functional conversations across product, marketing, and commercial teams. Final stages emphasized product ownership, decision-making, and the ability to apply sound business judgment in practical scenarios.
Smooth and fast, had 3 rounds between HR and leadership. They were on time, professional, and asked the right questions. Everything was done remote, and they made decisions fast. Overall it was a very positive experience.
