The process was going fine until the face to face interview. As soon as the candidate's face was seen, the process got very stringent. After providing a passport, ssn card and a third party verification this employee was asked for tax records, w2s, and 1099s. He interviewed with the client and was accepted. He was even sent computer equipment, but his contract was canceled after the fact because he was accused of creating a 1099 form. It is a family owned business and I am the owner. He didn't create anything. We even verified the employment with the third party company. Watch out for Molly the recruiter if you are not of European lineage.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
We want 7 years of w-2s (skipping over the fact that the applicant is 26 years old).
Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.
easy just have to know how to small talk. they look for depth in your answers and how you can push yourself to be better. they just want to see that you can drive the conversation and be curious about the positon. no experience necesarry.. easy but tbh toxic work env iroment
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
