I had a very bad experience. A young HR representative contacted me about the vacancy and conducted a 20-minute phone interview with general questions. She then asked to schedule a video interview. I assumed it would be with an HR manager, but she said it would be with her again. I didn’t understand why I needed to repeat the same interview with the same person. Later, I discovered that there was no HR manager. Anyway, I attended the second interview. After that, she asked me to schedule a technical interview with the technical consultant. We agreed on a date, but then she came back and informed me that the sales manager—who is about to leave the company—would also attend. This was quite strange, especially given the significant gap in experience between us. I still decided to attend, mainly to meet the technical consultant, who was supposed to be the main interviewer. Unfortunately, only the young sales manager attended; the technical consultant did not join. It turned out to be one of the strangest interviews I have ever had. The manager spent most of the time talking about his own qualifications and how much the CEO trusts him. The questions were very general, with frequent interruptions and little active listening. There was no real professional discussion. It felt more like he was showcasing his situation—being valued by the company but planning to leave for a much better offer—rather than conducting a proper interview. Afterward, I contacted the recruiter to ask about the next step, which she had previously mentioned would be an interview with the CEO. She replied that she would arrange it and get back to me with a date, but then she disappeared. I followed up a week later, but she never responded. Recently, I noticed that the company has reposted the same vacancy. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I have had.
