Innovex (RI) interview questions

After the introductions and initial discussion about the role and my background it became more of a back and forth instead of a normal calm business like conversation. Note, I was prescreened on the phone. It seemed to get contentious and I thought I was disappointing the owner and his CFO side kick, but I've been around a while and adapted to tbe interrogation. However, the conversation never change gears or even became pleasant. They followed up for a second interview, asked about salary again, but after the "sit down" there was no way.

Very odd. During the interview, both the interviewer and myself were told to leave the meeting room because there was another meeting scheduled. The interview itself was unpleasant and I was happy when it was over. After the interview the interviewer abruptly left the room and I had to show myself out. I got a call back and offer the same day but politely declined.
