I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Innovative Fitness (Vancouver, BC) in Aug 2019
Interview
Do not waste your time! I had given up two other job opportunities and nine hours of my time for interviews, testing and gym floor testing to be offered the role. After which and signing contracts with a start date just days away, I was sent on a First Aid course (at my expense) as they would not accept my very recent and in-depth UK NHS document. After this again I had another hurdle. HR 'apparently' informed the manager to inform me that they want to see more continuous development from my Personal Training course in 2014. I have only been studying a degree for the past 4 years and have been accepted onto a Masters in 2020 at Oxford, England. This still wasn't enough and they then inform me that they can not insure me and my qualifications yet the gym has numerous people from all over the world. It was a cover up, a lie and will be seeking legal action.
