I applied in-person. I interviewed at Innolitics (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2026
Interview
Based on experience engaging with the process, it struck me as being sneaky and suspicious, paying basically under the table to "do a coding exercise". Markets may be difficult these days taking into conderation inflation and tariff pressures, but that is no excuse to abuse the privilege, time, and sweat or knowledge equity of skilled applicants.

Question 1
To do a coding exercise under the table, basically, "paid" regardless of the outcome.
I applied online. I interviewed at Innolitics in Sept 2020
Interview
Initial 45 minute pre-screening interview. Then if you advanced it was a 2 hour coding interview at another date. The first interview was very casual, a get to know you sort of interview. The 2nd was very nerve-racking but still very good.

Question 1
What sort of things do you do to make you a better programmer?
