I applied online. I interviewed at Innocence Project New Orleans (New Orleans, LA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview was a casual conversation asking about my background experience, current activities both on and off campus, and reasons for my interests in the position. The interview also included an opportunity for me to ask questions about what the internship experience would be like.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Innocence Project New Orleans (New Orleans, LA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Shortly after submitting an application consisting of a Resume, Cover Letter, and Writing Sample, I was reached out to for a Zoom interview. At the conclusion of the interview I was told that they would get back to me very soon about if they would move me forward for a final interview. That never happened even after my attempts to follow up via email. While it is very poor form to leave a candidate waiting like this, I appreciate that they are a small organization that does very important work and may not have the needed time or resources.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was about a 45 minute interview that consisted primarily of generic interview questions, such as "Tell me a little about yourself."... "where do you see yourself in 5 years?"... "Why do you want this job?"... "How would you describe your organizational skills?"
There were a few questions that were of the more thoughtful variety, including a question about my thoughts on racial inequality in the criminal justice system.
