I interviewed at Inlogik in Jun 2025

      Interview

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, and after I sent over my resume, I was invited to a technical interview with their Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager. The interview was a mix of technical and behavioral questions, and both interviewers were very professional and friendly. They also took the time to explain the business and the team structure, which I appreciated. Toward the end of the conversation, I got the sense they might be looking for someone whose technical skill set more closely matches their needs. So I asked them directly what kind of candidate they were looking for. They shared honestly that, while they're happy to give someone time to learn the business side, they ideally want someone who’s technically 100% ready to hit the ground running. That’s completely fair and understandable. They mentioned they would have further discussions and get back to me either way, but I never heard back. While I don’t mind not being moved forward because I genuinely understand the type of candidate they need — it’s just a bit of a shame I didn’t get any closure. Hearing back would have made an already good experience feel complete. Overall, it was still a positive interaction, and I appreciated their transparency and professionalism throughout the process.
