The interview process at Inkitt had me more and more enthusiastic about working there every step of the way. It was not an easy process, but it was everything I value in that it was very transparent + fair with all interviewers dedicating 100% effort and care/thought to the process. The interviewers knew exactly what they were looking for, and everyone I spoke with did their part to streamline the very detailed process. The interviews moved along at a good cadence. The process was as follows: - Initial check-in with Sofia (Global Director of Talent Acquisition) to go over expectations and fit - Meeting with the Hiring Manager who will be my direct manager upon beginning work - Technical Scorecard Interview - meeting with two members of the development team to discuss how I would create a SEO strategy for Galatea and prioritize SEO action items amidst other growth initiatives - WHO Interview - meeting with two longstanding senior team members who dove into my previous work experiences to learn how I handle various situations - Meeting with Ali, the CEO and Founder - relaxed meeting for big picture questions and answers with the original Inker - Prior-to-Hire Meeting w/ Sofia - While I already really felt like I got to know 110% what I am signing up for at Inkitt through the interview process, this meeting cemented the alignment of expectations + reality for all with crystal clarity - Offer from Hiring Manager I really appreciated all of the effort that went in from everyone on Inkitt's side, and I feel like I've found the perfect culture fit for me. Additionally, my start date was delayed due to visa complications, and Chelsea in HR went the extra mile to assure me this was not an issue and to expedite the process form the company's side where possible. I start next week, and I already feel supported.
