I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Infraspec in May 2026
Interview
My interview experience was very good. Infraspec so far has been the only Indian company that provided me an assignment that was very relevant to the role that I applied for. I also developed simple features for this assignment while working with one of the interviewer as a pair. All the interviewers were very helpful and helped me learn when I got stuck on any problem.

Question 1
In depth analysis of my experience so far, both in terms of breadth and depth. Also, my experience as a team lead.
The interview experience for the Fullstack Engineer III role was generally positive. The interviewers were supportive, professional, and created a comfortable environment throughout the process.
However, I felt that the evaluation was heavily skewed toward DevOps and system design topics. While these are important aspects of a full-stack role, the focus was almost entirely on DevOps—around 90% of the discussion—leaving very limited room to assess frontend and backend development skills.
For a Fullstack Engineer position, I believe the evaluation should be more balanced across frontend, backend, and DevOps competencies. Because the final assessment leaned strongly toward DevOps, it gave me mixed feelings about whether the interview fully reflected the expectations of a full-stack role.

Question 1
One of the key areas they asked me about was DevOps, particularly around observability—things like logging, monitoring, and related concepts. The discussion was quite focused on these aspects rather than covering a broader range of full-stack topics.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Infraspec (Bengaluru) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of three rounds totaling approximately 5-6 hours with the founders. It covered Code pairing Exersise on top of a technical assessment.
2nd round was a technician discussion on experience, architecture, Kubernetes/AWS infrastructure design, Operating system and Networks. Last round was in office cultural fit. The interviewers were thorough but respectful, and they accommodated my issues with timing and didt a lot of arrangement. Overall, a professional and transparent process.
