I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Informatica
Interview
Overall, the process was rather structured and rather quick. After a screening, I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager. After that, I delivered a presentation where I had to present a prior proposal (role-play, presenting to a decision maker) and another presentation where I conveyed various use-cases of some the products. Again, it wasn't difficult, and the process was rather straight-forward.
The unprofessionalism came in towards the end: An offer was given prior to being approved and was apparently rejected so in turn, I really didn't have an offer. They said they would follow-up to see if exceptions could be made, but I didn't hear anything. Extremely unprofessional, and I felt my time was wasted! In fact, I've heard from many Informatica Employees that especially during internal promotions, reqs are created BEFORE they have been funded!! Horrible Practice! Be very cautious before applying - ask them whether the Req has been fully funded before you begin!

Tell me about a recent Enterprise Sell-Cycle you went through.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Informatica (Maidenhead, England) in May 2016
Interview
After personal referral contact by internal recruiter. Extremely engaging and positive, but fair questioning on skills, expereience and ambitions. Some delay due to quarter end focus, but eventually interview with the hiring manager. Again very positive expereience that augmented my reserach about the company culture and behaviours. Very rapid second interview by senior manager and a final panel interview with some tough, but again fair and in good spirit, questioning after a presentation on a draft sector approach.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Informatica (Boston, MA) in Sept 2014
Interview
First call with HR recruiter (screener), then had calls with hiring manager and VP, followed by in-person interviews with several layers of management up to SVP, supporting engineers and potential peers. Had to provide a presentation to manager and VP on a topic of my choice which checks your presentation skills, ability to articulate complex concepts, presence, etc. It was a very detailed and thorough process which took a while to complete through all the stages but in the end it was worth it.
