Interview
The hiring process takes time. After the first interview, it took around 2-3 weeks only informs you to attend the second interview. During the interview, they screen through your resume. You must clear on what you write on the resume and know how to describe it. Besides, you must study the wafer fabrication process as they will test whether you know about it. Then, they ask about the studies if you are fresh graduate.
The interview started with a friendly introduction by the hiring manager and process engineers. They explained Infineon’s role in the semiconductor industry, especially in power devices and automotive applications, which helped set a professional and comfortable tone.
No technical questions were asked. All behavioural questions and easily could answer all these questions without much thoughts. And the HR was very polite and easy to be communicated with

Interview
I first submitted my application online and was contacted within a week for an initial phone screening. After that, I had a technical interview with the hiring manager, followed by a final round that included a panel interview and some situational questions. The overall process took about 2–3 weeks. Interviewers were friendly and gave clear expectations. Communication from HR was timely and helpful throughout.

They asked how I would handle a sudden drop in yield and what steps I’d take to troubleshoot and sustain the process.
