Overall generally positive, interview was short and professional, until I was hired. I looked over the paperwork and expressed legal concern about signing away rights to a jury trial as constitutionially provisioned. The recruiter took this very personally, felt that somehow I was a threat to the company because I was concerned about signing away my personal legal rights, and then withdrew the offer and ushered me out of the office.
Turns out what I was reading was a segment on harassment cases (amongst other things) where a bench trial is used instead of a jury. In bench trials there is no panel of your peers, facts are often considered foregone conclusions, and only attorneys and the judge are present to decide the outcome. Overall read what you sign VERY carefully with this company, I can thankfully say I'm glad they wanted me out of there. If I knew what this was while reading it I would have either walked out myself or refused to sign (or modified then signed).
