I interviewed at Imperial County Public Works Department
Interview
The interview was very short and no feedback was given. I have never heard a follow up and the interview was bland and vague. Minimal questions were allowed to be asked.
I applied in-person. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Imperial County Public Works Department (El Centro, CA)
Interview
Applied, waited almost 4 weeks. interviewed after 5 or more weeks. succeeded in getting the job. Had to meet the head of the department at the site where i would work at. At that meeting he informed me and two others that the location where we were, was to be attended by us using our own vehicles and not the county vehicles. ( That has since changed.) He wanted us to see this now because of the high turnover they have for this positions. He then said one of us would be contacted by him by phone tommorow as his selection the others by mail that they were not selected. Then he asked if their were any questions. The other two did nothing but I raised my hand and the director asked me what was my concern? I asked him what time what time should I expect his call? Least to say the other two were mouths open but the director just said thank you for coming. I got the call.
