Waste of time.
I applied online for a position based in BOSTON. I received a call from the recruiter and she was eating her lunch while talking to me on the phone. She even choked on something, coughing while talking to me.. Anyways. She asked if I was based in NYC stating the role is for a team in NYC (not Boston like I applied for) and that they would want someone in the office. I told her my plans to move to Boston. The whole thing was just sloppy and confusing.
Then she went on to talk about how the company received got its series c and then series d. I asked why they took it and she just explained they weren't expecting the offer for it and just took the money.. It was kind of a naive response and not helpful to understanding the business goals and how they plan to use that money + manage investor expectations with such growth.
Recommendation: get your recruitment team in order.
