      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at IgniteTech

      Interview

I applied and they sent over a skills test that requested up 4 - 5 hours to complete - if you fail any part of the it or answers don't match up to what they feel is a good candidate the program says you failed and can apply again in 6 months. This was the most lazy and impersonal application process. This is the first review I have left for any company's interview process, but as soon as it was over and the words FAILED show on the screen, I had to leave something on their page.

      Interview

Based on other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only person who feels the same way regarding their unscrupulous and time wasting interview process. Someone noted (and I fully concur) that they are likely using these interviews as a way to source ideas and other information. I passed every aspect of their long-winded and impersonal process yet never received a person-to-person interview via phone or video. The job market is incredibly difficult during COVID-19 so to waste several hours of someone's time during this global pandemic is sinful.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IgniteTech (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2020

      Interview

I’m so glad I read these reviews before finishing my application. Same as the others, applied via LinkedIn and received an automated email shortly after asking me to sign up with a third party site to continue the process. Extremely lengthy tasks (15 minute cognitive test, creating an audio recording, etc). When I got to the section asking me to record a video I started to get some weird vibes and chose not to continue. Looks like a smart decision on my part. They don’t even have customer success employees on LinkedIn! It seems like they are trying to get CS insider knowledge and are disguising it as an interview for a job that doesn’t actually exist.
