I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ignite Social Media (Detroit, MI) in Sept 2016
Interview
Phone interview - the HR person could not have seemed less interested. It seemed from the start, she was looking to exclude me from the process rather than ask relevant questions that might reveal things about my skills or work habits. Maybe they should have someone who is not a recruiter interview people. The interview wasn't difficult. It just seemed like a pseudo interview - like she was running through a list and trying to narrow it down quickly. Also, for the record, she said this job pays only 35 thousand (ten thousand less than salaries indicated on Glassdoor). It was one of the worst and most awkward interviews I have had - due to the demeanor and lack of interest on her part. After indicating that the job wouldn't work for me based on my salary requirements and desire to work from home sometimes (you might read online that they allow this), I received an email several days later, that seemed to indicate no memory of having talked - 'we have received you resume and found other applicants whose skills more closely fit our needs.' Actually, I was overqualified... No, I'm not a sore loser. I just expect HR to be professional and skilled at what they do. Maybe management should read these reviews.

Question 1
Why are you applying here? How much money do you want?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ignite Social Media
Interview
I applied online, and a couple days later I got an email asking for times I'd be available for an interview. A week later, I had a phone interview with them.
During the interview, I received an email from the person who was interviewing me telling me that they decided to move forward with other candidates. From the point of that email, the interview went on for about another 10 minutes. At least tell me during the interview that it's not going to work out. Don't email me during it and let me know you've rejected me.

Interview
After applying via the Ignite website, I received an email from an individual in HR asking me to provide times that work well for a twenty minute phone interview. The interviewer seemed to be having a bad day, and her attitude made me very uncomfortable. About an hour after getting off the phone, I received an email that they would be moving forward with other candidates.
