Interview
Applied in November 2025, 1.5 months before Phone interview, nearly was 2 months before onsite interview. Be prepared to waste 2 hours of your time with a panel behavioral interview style that came out in the 1970's. Know STAR and how to respond to questions. No real chance to get to know me. After 6 hour round trip drive and 2 hour interview the position went to an internal employee.
Thank you for sharing your interview experience with us. We appreciate the time and effort you invested in the process, including the significant travel and preparation for the interview.
We understand that the structured STAR format may feel limiting, and your feedback is helpful as we continue to improve how we get to know candidates. While this role was filled internally, we truly value your interest in Idaho Power and wish you the very best in your career journey.

Interview
Technical questions based on the job description over a phone call with 3 or 4 members on the panel. Good understanding of basics. It was an hour long interview and in my experience there was no time for questions.
