Had a video interview with both the head chef and HR was relaxed and open, gave very relevant and detailed information regarding role and culture of the team. Was asked to come in for a trial.

Interview
After submitting my CV, I was contacted by a member of the HR team at the hotel I had applied to work at. She explained to me a bit about what the role would require and asked for my previous experience and availability. I was then invited for a shadow shift, where they showed me where I would be working and what exactly I would be doing and checked that I could perform the tasks required. All pretty straight forward and everyone I spoke to was really lovely!
